Our team recently completed another successful movement of sensitive lithium battery cargo from China to Europe. The shipment moved on the route: CGO → LGG → MXP The cargo consisted of standalone lithium-ion batteries classified as:
UN3480
PI965 Section IA
Due to the strict Dangerous Goods acceptance requirements applicable to lithium battery cargo, the project required detailed preparation and close coordination between all parties involved.
From the initial stage, our specialists worked directly with the customer to:
review shipment data and packing details
verify DG compliance requirements
support preparation and correction of DG documentation
coordinate acceptance requirements with the airline
ensure cargo readiness for export handling
The shipment was uplifted from Zhengzhou (CGO) to Liège (LGG), followed by dedicated trucking connection to final destination in Milan (MXP).
The project highlights the growing importance of dedicated logistics solutions for:
lithium batteries
EV-related cargo
electronics
high-tech industrial shipments
sensitive DG cargo flows between China and Europe
As China–Europe cargo connectivity continues developing rapidly, particularly for battery and technology-driven supply chains, operational expertise in DG handling, multimodal coordination, and compliant transportation processes becomes increasingly critical.
The China–Europe corridor remains one of the fastest-growing and most strategically important trade lanes in global air cargo, driven by e-commerce, electronics manufacturing, EV supply chains, and industrial export growth from China.
